Our Association meets regularly five times per year. Three meetings are held on Sunday Afternoons in October, March and May. The March and May meetings are on the third Sunday. The October Meeting is usually the fourth Sunday. Our quarterly meetings have long been referred to as "Booster Meetings". These meetings are rotated between fire stations in the Mid-Atlantic States. The meetings are open to everyone.

The CVVFA Board of Directors and Officers meet in Halfway MD at the fire station on the Sunday following the first Saturday in January.

Our Annual Convention commences on the Thursday before the first Saturday in August. Conventions open with a Board meeting on Wednesday evening and close with a parade on Saturday.
