The CVVFA Emergency Responder Safety Institute Motorist Education Campaign expanded in Maryland with a display at the Sideling Hill Visitor Center on I-68. Bob Cumberland, CVVFA Past President announced that the visitor center has made available a display case that features information on Slow Down Move Over and the CVVFA Responder Safety Message. The Westminster MD Police Department contributed items for the display. Past President Cumberland is the Chairman of the CVVFA Highway Visitor Center Task Force. He and his team are working to expand the successful motorist information campaign founded in Pennsylvania to other states. Currently the CVVFA is preparing information to be distributed through ResponderSafety.com for educators and public information officers. A portion of this activity is funded by the FEMA Fire Prevention and Firefighter Safety Grant program.
