November is often tied to giving thanks. This Thanksgiving I want to challenge all CVVFA members, especially our directors/elected officers, to show their thanks to CVVFA and the American Fire Service by giving back. I want to challenge each of you to give thanks by sponsoring five new members into the association. CVVFA has been a benefit to many of us personally and to all of our fire service careers. From networking opportunities with legendary fire service icons to changing the way we do things on the roadway to keep us safer. I challenge each of you to give just $25 to bring five new members aboard. Please say you will commit and do your part as an invested member to grow our organization. In January, I would like to share with the membership a list of the new members and who sponsored them. This is your opportunity to be an evangelist for CVVFA and bring in new faces that are not familiar with what we do and can help grow our organization. Please show your commitment to this group and join me in giving thanks to CVVFA and the American Fire Service. Once you pay for your members, please send to me an email list of your five sponsored members so I can add them to the results of this challenge.
